Sigma Delta Tau Chapter Consultant Position Profile: The Sigma Delta Tau Chapter Consultant acts as an official representative of the National Organization to all undergraduate chapters across the country.

Consultant Responsibilities include:

  • Training chapter officers
  • Carrying out the National Policies
  • Educating undergraduates in all areas of chapter programming:
    Membership
    Recruitment
    Scholarship
    Philanthropy\Community Service
    Sorority Education
  • Consulting with university administrators and local alumnae
  • Assisting extension team with presentations
  • Serving as a public relations ambassador
  • Working with the local Panhellenics
  • Developing new resource materials for the National Organization
  • Representing the National Organization at conferences and regional conclaves

This position affords the opportunity to serve as a counselor, educator, spokesperson, advisor and as an expert in communications. Skills developed include: oral and written communication, organization, project management, creativity, marketing, presentation, sales and independent thinking.
