| Approximately fifteen scholarships are awarded each year to undergraduate and graduate students. A number of interest-free loans are granted each year to undergraduate members of Sigma Delta Tau. Grants are also given to the National Sorority for educational and leadership programs. The Foundation sponsors participation in NPC Regional Meetings and Leadership Seminars. Since 1963 the SDT Foundation has given over $425,000 in scholarships, interest-free educational loans and educational and leadership development grants. The Foundation is able to provide these services through the generous gifts of Sigma Delta Tau alumnae, collegians and friends. A gift to the Foundation is a way to honor the commitment to sisterhood that each member makes upon her own initiation.
